Pipe-Rite was formed in 1994, initially supplying labour to existing companies. Since then it has progressed to tendering for the supply of materials - hydraulic fittings, hydraulic hoses, hydraulic CDS mild steel pipe, stainless steel pipe – and also the complete package of supply, installation, and flushing of hydraulic systems.

The main bulk of work Pipe-Rite has been involved with in previous years – either partially or wholly - has been installing hydraulic systems to sea going vessels, such as seismographic ships running numerous winches, cranes, streamer reels ect, in the search for offshore oilfields, or installing computerised auto-trawl winch systems to modern day deep-water trawlers, to the less sophisticated systems fitted to inshore fishing vessels.

Pipe-Rite has not been entirely reliant on sea going vessels, work has also been carried out in other industries such as offshore oil rigs, xmas tree manufacture for sub sea oil production, paper mills and the manufacture of flushing rigs and test rigs.
